Sand Dipper with Lanyard - Blue

I bought two of these; one for me and one for my Mom. We just recently spent a week at the beach and my Mom was absolutely THRILLED with her Sand Dipper (as was I)! She was walking through the tide pools and scooping things left and right and didn't hurt her back from bending over. I have a knee injury and couldn't squat down this year to look at the shell piles but was able to move stuff around with the wire basket so I could find things slightly buried. I would agree that the basket is not great for digging in the sand but it is FANTASTIC for scooping things off the surface or slightly buried.
