If you are having an issue with your GPS/Fish Finder being close to your compass and interfering with it, then check and see if your SD card door has a magnet for keeping it closed. This is a problem with some GPS/Fish Finder units with regard to compass interference. Removing the magnet will resolve this issue, but you will have to come up with alternative method of keeping the door closed. Hope this helps someone scratching their head trying to figure out why their GPS/Fish Finder is interfering with the compass.
