Question:

My Unit Doesn't Have an SD Card Slot - How Can I Get Your Waypoints on My Unit

Answer:

Many older GPS units & chartplotters used proprietary cards to hold data. If you have a proprietary card AND a card reader AND compatible desktop software, you may be able to import our waypoints into your desktop companion software then export to your card. If you do not have a card reader, the likelihood of you finding one to buy is slim.

Another option is to transfer data to your unit using a cable and companion software. Consult your units operators manual or call the manufacturers support for help.

Our best advice is to download our Jefferson or Walton GPX files and see if it works before you buy. We can also send you a test file for your unit, contact support for a test file and tell us your brand and model.

We do not offer support for older units with proprietary cards.

Might we suggest purchasing a new, modern unit that has more features and easily imports waypoints?
